Restoring the character of a 139-year-old Gothic Revival home, we infused modern livability while preserving its historic charm. We opened up the once-cramped kitchen, inviting natural morning light from the sunroom to gently fill the space, and transformed a former artist studio into a welcoming dining and living area. The den was updated with a fresh, timeless touch, and upstairs, we reimagined the hall bath and created a new ensuite for the primary bedroom. The basement laundry was refreshed for a more functional layout, and outdoors, we revitalized the overgrown yard, maximizing every inch of space to craft a cozy garden retreat for entertaining, complete with a fire pit, nestled in lush surroundings. This project combines thoughtful updates with a deep respect for the home’s storied past.
